I Miss the Moneybombs (Dan McCarthy)

Dan McCarthy has nice post on the upcoming BJ Lawson Moneybomb:

UPDATE: Dan's blog post on LewRockwell.com was apparently removed by Lew...

It was a little over a year ago -- Labor Day 2007 -- that I caught the Ron Paul fund-raising bug in a big way, even before the first moneybomb. The campaign's MeetUp competition got me motivated, and I wound up donating a few hundred dollars to help the Greater Philadelphia area RP MeetUp raise the most money for Dr. Paul. Those were glorious times. The moneybomb fever that followed was even better.

All good things must come to an end. There is, however, a chance to get a little of the old thrill this Wednesday with the Constitution Day moneybomb in support of B.J. Lawson, a Ron Paul-endorsed, primary-winning congressional candidate in North Carolina. (Dr. Lawson -- for he too is an MD, like Ron Paul himself -- was also emcee of the terrific Ron Paul Nation Celebration in Minneapolis this Labor Day.)
