While the Nevada results were excellent for Ron Paul, a distant 5th in South Carolina was a disappointment. I'm not surprised by the placement, but by his worst vote percentage yet, a minuscule 4%. Could the lower percentage be due to the electronic voting machines with no paper trail that the entire state is using? A recount is impossible, which brings Lenin's famous quote to mind: "It's not the vote that counts, it's who counts the votes."
On the brighter side, the Giuliani implosion continues with two 6th place finishes today, and his considerable lack of support in SC does not bode well for him in Florida either :-)
